My brother saw the band in 1977 (lucky him!!!!) and talked about it for days…  I was only 8 at the time, but I had a feeling like "this is for me."  My cousin, who owned Alive, gladly gave it to me and said "You keep it, too candyish for me!!!"  Oddly enough, the first song I heard was "Rock Bottom."  Sent shivers down my spine!  I never recovered!  Just like all die-hards, KISS became a lifestyle…
 

It was the Creatures tour, in early 1983!  I was completely floored… The only thing - I didn’t find out about Ace not being there until the day of the show!  So I couldn’t figure out who that Vinnie guy was… I was upset but didn’t realize at the time that I was witnessing KISS’s only U.S. tour with Eric Carr in makeup and that it would be the last makeup tour until 1996.  That in itself is a good enough reason to feel lucky!  Great set list, too!

 

I’ve seen KISS live about 20 times total.  The farthest to me was Detroit Rock City.  I saw them on the Revenge tour.  Pretty good show!  Never saw a bad KISS show, anyway.  Also went to see them play in Toronto twice, I also saw Ace in New York, Peter in London, Ontario, KISS in Quebec City, KISS in Ottawa, plus many times in Montreal.
 

Tough question.  Peter maybe, because he is so real and I prefer real people, not wannabes!  Peter likes to tell it like it is.  I am that way too, so… and also Ace because of his sense of humor… I like to laugh too!

 

I think it means Kings in Satan’s Service, or Knights in Satan’s Service, I can’t remember now…  Actually, KISS means believing in yourself, never giving up until you succeed.  Pretty positive overall…

 

7) Most KISS fans – at some point in their lives – have had to defend their allegiance to the band.  Tell us about your most memorable experience. 

Well, nothing too heavy, but I do remember having pretty heated debates with people in high school telling me that KISS was out of style, blah blah blah…  as Gene would say, those people aren’t working anymore so that’s OK…

"Nothing Can Keep Me from You!"  Just kidding, folks!  Last time I wore my "platform" boots, I had trouble walking anyways, but if I have to choose one, maybe "God of Thunder!"
 

10) What is your most prized KISS possession?

Another tough one, this questionnaire is too hard!  Actually, I think my Paul Stanley PS-10 signed by the Starchild himself… and most of my 70's stuff such as the sleeping bag, which is very useful as I will no longer use my bed until I find the KISS bedspread.  Can anyone help?

Very touched, I still can’t believe it!  Sure is a lot of fun, too…  I am the first Canadian Kreature, too so that's another honor!
 

15) If KISS was to read this, what one thing would you want to tell them?

Thanks for all the joy you brought to all of us.  For some reason, just like every other KISS fan, I can’t get enough!  You have definitely gone where no band has gone before and I believe you will continue to do so!  As you mentioned in KISSTORY… THE END???????  HELL NO!  NOT EVEN CLOSE!
